Roles and Responsibilities:

• Planning, Developing and Implementing PR strategies and plans for NxtWave to build the brand across multiple stakeholders, educators & learners.
• Drive positive stories across a broad range of media to position NxtWave as a thought leader in the Edtech space.
• Working directly with the CXOs and BU leaders to define the roadmap for PR at an organization level
• Leveraging a variety of media channels to maximize the company’s brand exposure through interviews, editorials etc.
• Assist business teams with PR considerations related to the external environment, PR landscape, and emerging news cycles
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with a wide array of media personnel
• Coordinate with content teams and get content ready for press releases, byline articles, editorials and keynote presentations to promote company presence and improve engagement
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR effort results on a weekly and monthly basis

Requirements:

• Proven work experience of 1-2 years in Communications (Print and Digital)/Marketing
• Having a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing or a related field is an added advantage
• Working experience with startups that had a significant impact on company’s public relations
• Consistent track record of developing and implementing successful campaigns
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
