What we're looking for

NYC Central & Co. is seeking a Social Media Manager who’s passionate about content/ video creation, marketing, and educating our users. This is an exciting opportunity for a digital storyteller who’s looking to drive thought-leadership and content strategy while building brand awareness. The ideal candidate knows how to create unique story ideas, initiate ideation for original content, develop thoughtful distribution strategies, and be in the know of industry trends across multiple channels.

What we will accomplish together

1. Develop a social content and channel strategy primarily across Instagram
2. Define the most important social media KPIs
3. Measure the success of every social media campaign
4. Manage and oversee the social media content
5. Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices
6. Use analytics tools to gauge the success of posts and campaigns
7. Creating multimedia (with a focus on video) content that will catch maximum user interest

You should recognize yourself in the following...

1. Proven work experience as an individual Social media strategist for a brand or as Individual Content Creator
2. Hands-on experience using social media for brand awareness
3. Ability to identify target audience preferences and produce content to meet those preferences
4. Excellent written and verbal communication٫ and multitasking skills
